We pack every UV coated order with that in mind — tissue interleaves between stacks, shrink-wrapped bundles, and rigid corrugated boxes that keep your prints pristine from our production floor to your hands.

Production Timeline for UV Coated Prints
UV coating adds a step to the production process. After printing, your materials go through the UV coating line — either flood UV across the entire surface or spot UV applied to specific design elements. This adds approximately 1 business day to production compared to uncoated prints.
Standard production for UV coated materials is 6 to 8 business days. Rush production compresses that to 3 to 4 business days. Shipping transit time is added on top — ground is 3 to 5 days, 2-day and overnight are available.
Production begins only after you approve your digital proof. Prompt approval keeps your timeline on track.
Shipping Options
Ground shipping is the most economical choice and is free on qualifying orders. It works well when your timeline allows 9 to 13 business days total from proof approval to delivery.
For tighter timelines, 2-day shipping delivers within 2 transit days after production. Overnight shipping puts your UV coated materials at your door the next business day after they ship. These expedited options are priced at checkout based on package weight and destination.
Local Pickup — The Careful Way
If you are in the Chicago metro area, local pickup lets you collect your UV coated prints in person. Our primary pickup point is in Schaumburg, IL, with extended hours. Additional pickup points on Cottage Grove Avenue and Western Avenue serve the city.
Pickup is particularly smart for UV coated orders. You inspect the finish in person before leaving. No carrier handling, no transit vibration, no weather exposure. Many of our clients who order premium materials for high-profile events prefer pickup for exactly this reason.
Packaging for Premium Finishes
Standard flyers can handle a bit of jostling. UV coated prints need more attention. We use tissue interleaves between stacks to prevent surface-to-surface contact. Bundles are shrink-wrapped and placed in rigid boxes with padding. For spot UV orders with intricate raised patterns, we add additional protective layers.
Packaging is included — no surcharges for the extra care UV coated materials require. If your order ships in multiple boxes, each box is individually protected.
Tracking and Delivery
Every shipment includes a tracking number sent to your email upon carrier pickup. Track through your account dashboard or directly on the carrier's website.
If your package shows delivered but you cannot locate it, contact us within 48 hours. For packages that arrive with visible external damage, photograph the box before opening — this helps with carrier claims. If the prints inside are damaged, we replace the order at no cost.
