Clear Terms for a Quality Product. Know What to Expect When You Order.

1. Agreement

By using UV Coated Club Flyers or placing an order, you agree to these terms. This service is operated by Black Asterisk LLC, located at 30 North Gould Street, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801.

2. Our Services

UV Coated Club Flyers provides UV coated and spot UV printing services, including club flyers, business cards, postcards, and promotional materials. All orders are custom-produced with UV coating applied after printing. Spot UV orders require a separate mask layer in your artwork file.

We may decline orders containing content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes on the rights of others.

3. Pricing and Payment

Prices are in US dollars and reflect the specific UV coating option selected (flood UV, spot UV, or specialty finishes). Coating type affects pricing — select your finish on the product page to see accurate pricing. Payment is required at order placement.

Confirmed orders are honored at the checkout price. Shipping is calculated separately. Tax is applied where required based on your delivery address.

4. Artwork for UV Coated Prints

Standard file requirements apply: PDF, AI, EPS, PSD, or high-resolution JPG/PNG at 300 DPI in CMYK. Bleed of 0.125 inches. Fonts outlined or embedded.

Spot UV orders require an additional mask layer that defines which areas receive the UV treatment. This layer must be a separate file or a designated layer in your design file, using 100% black to indicate UV areas. Misalignment or errors in the mask layer will result in misaligned spot UV on the printed piece. See our File Guidelines for detailed spot UV file setup instructions.

5. Proof Approval

Your digital proof shows the print design and, for spot UV orders, the UV mask placement. Approving the proof confirms both the design content and the UV application areas. Production — including the UV coating process — begins immediately after approval.

Screen color is an approximation. UV coating amplifies vibrancy and contrast slightly, which is a characteristic of the finish. We calibrate for fidelity but cannot guarantee exact screen-to-print matching.

6. Production and Delivery

UV coated prints require additional production time for the coating step. Standard production is 6 to 8 business days. Rush production is 3 to 4 business days. Shipping transit time is additional.

We ship to all 50 US states with protective packaging designed for UV coated surfaces. Local pickup is available in the Chicago area. We are not responsible for carrier delays. Risk of loss transfers at carrier pickup.

7. Returns and Quality

Custom UV coated products are not returnable for change of mind. Our quality promise covers production defects and UV coating issues — uneven coating, peeling, bubbling, and spot UV misalignment caused by our process. Report within 7 days of delivery. Full details on our Returns page.

8. Intellectual Property

You warrant that you have the legal right to use all content and designs submitted for printing. Your creative assets remain your property. We use them solely to produce your order. We do not repurpose, display, or share your designs.

9. Content Restrictions

We reserve the right to refuse orders containing illegal, defamatory, obscene, or threatening content. Declined orders receive a full refund.

10. Liability

Liability is limited to the order amount. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages including event cancellations, missed deadlines, or reputational impact arising from production or delivery issues.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Black Asterisk LLC from claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services, content you submit, or violation of these terms.

12. Changes

We may revise these terms. Updates are posted here with a new effective date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

Wyoming law governs these terms. Disputes are resolved in Wyoming state or federal courts.
